Who We Are
The Worship Band is an auditioned, diverse group of instrumentalists who lead the musical portion of our Sunday worship services. The instruments include but are not limited to the Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Piano/Keyboard, Synthesizer, Bass Guitar, Drums and Percussion. Also, if you play an orchestral instrument such as a flute or clarinet there are definite opportunities for you to share your gift each week as well!
When
The Worship Band meets every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00pm for rehearsal in the Worship Center.
What is Expected
- A demonstrated passion to lead and to serve the Lord through music. The Worship Band members are regarded as servants, but also as worship leaders for the congregation.
- An attitude of service towards the other members of the group as well as the congregation.
- The ability to read music, especially chord charts and lead sheets, as well as being fairly proficient on your instrument.
- Attending all rehearsals before Sunday morning Worship as well as any extra rehearsals that might be needed.
